Named by SBS and NITV as one of 20 Indigenous people to look out for in 2019, this Aboriginal Queen reigns from South Western Sydney – Campbelltown born and bred. Her mob is the Kamilaroi tribe from Walgett and Dhunghutti tribe from Kempsey. Felicia Fox started her drag career at 16 years old to inspire youth to be their most charismatic selves and to broaden the visibility of the LGBTQI community in Aboriginal communities. While being a gay Aboriginal man in a country where our identity is constantly examined can be hard, nothing can keep Felicia down.
She has opened shows for international superstar Charli XCX, headlined festivals, appeared on Channel 7’s Andrew Denton’s Interview, ABC’s Life Stories and many more FAboriginal appearances and performances. Felicia Fox lead the 40th and 41st Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade, was 1st runner up of the 2018 Miss First Nation Pageant and was crowned lip sync superstar for the Miss First Nation Pageant as well. Felicia is also a signed runway model and slays the runway in drag continuing her legacy breaking down barriers in the runway/modelling industry.
She is a queen of colour inspiring fabulous people all over the world. Felicia’s ultimate goal is to continue to break down barriers, smash stigmas and to create awareness anywhere and everywhere she goes for Indigenous & Queer rights.
